Tulsa, Ok- The University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s golf team finished fifth in NSU Women’s Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma. UAM combined for a two-round team score of 611 (+43).
Rogers State took home the tournament title with a final team score of 22-over (590), followed by Southeastern Oklahoma State in second at 26-over par (594). Harding took third at 34-over par (602). Oklahoma Baptist came in fourth at 37-over par (605). Arkansas-Monticello rounded out the top five with a team score of 43-over par (611).
Leading the Weevils, Renata Abad sat in second place after Round 1, carding a 1-over-par 72. Abad followed with a 6-over-par 77 in the final round to finish tied for eighth with a two-round score of 149.
Tori Milton sat tied for 20th after Round 1, carding a 6-over-par 77. Milton improved by two strokes in the final round, shooting a 4-over-par 75 to finish tied for 15th with a final score of 152.
Faith Hendren sat tied for 30th after Round 1 after carding an 8-over-par 79. Hendren improved by three strokes in the final round, shooting a 5-over-par 76 to finish tied for 22nd with a final score of 155.
Kenzie McCleny sat tied for 37th after Round 1, carding a 9-over-par 80. McCleny improved by three strokes in the final round with a 6-over-par 77, finishing tied for 25th with a two-round score of 157.
Paveekul Kladkleep sat tied for 22nd after Round 1, carding a 7-over-par 78. Kladkleep followed with an 11-over-par 82 in the final round to finish tied for 38th with a final score of 160.
Competing as an individual, Karis Pollard sat tied for 38th after Round 1, carding a 10-over-par 81. Pollard matched her opening-round score with another 10-over-par 81 in the final round, finishing tied for 45th with a two-round score of 162.
Also competing as an individual, Gabriella Stefansdottir sat 67th after Round 1, carding a 30-over-par 101. Stefansdottir improved by five strokes in the final round, shooting a 25-over-par 96 to finish with a two-round score of 197.
