Bradley County 4-H members recently traveled to Malvern to participate in 4-H District O-Rama, a competitive event that showcases the hard work, project learning and skills members have developed throughout the year.
O-Rama features more than 40 contests in which 4-H members can compete. Participants advance through county, district and state levels, with State O-Rama hosted on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. The state event gives young people an exciting preview of university life, including the opportunity to stay in dorms and attend career fairs.
Built on the 4-H “learn by doing” philosophy, O-Rama gives youth a platform to build confidence, step outside their comfort zones and connect with peers from across Arkansas.
Bradley County participants included Alyssa Martinez and Brooke Rawls, who competed in Performing Arts; Antonia Davis, who competed in Fashion Review; Ben Green and Judson Green, who competed in Public Speaking; and Arielle Weaver, who competed in Shooting Sports.
