Charlotte Ruthe Wilkerson of Monticello, Arkansas, age 4, went to be with Jesus on September 4th, 2026 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She was born on July 29th, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Charlotte is the daughter of Connor and Elise Wilkerson, and sister to Callahan Wilkerson from Monticello, Arkansas, who loved her unconditionally. Charlotte loved her puppy dogs, Prince and Bear. Charlotte attended Landmark Baptist Church in Hermitage, Arkansas. Charlotte Ruthe is survived by her parents, Elise and Connor Wilkerson, her baby brother Callahan Wilkerson, her Pawpaw and Gigi (David and Gena Wilkerson), her Mimi and Poppy (Melanie and Mark McNeely), her Pop and Kristi (Levi and Kristi McDuff), and her great-grandparents (Lee and Jeniece Dykes).With a long list of aunts and uncles who loved her so much. Collin Wilkerson (Ali), Cade Wilkerson, Cindy Kaye Cathey (Colby), Carter Wilkerson, and Ella McDuff. As well as her cousin Caven Wilkerson and the sweetest addition that has not made his arrival yet. Charlotte was deeply loved by so many close family friends who loved her immensely. Charlotte is preceded in death by her great-grandparents (Gorman and Anna Grider), her great-grandparents (Leroy and Lynda McDuff ), and her great-grandparents (Harold and Lavelle Wilkerson). Charlotte accomplished many milestones and achievements over the last four years. She overcame many medical obstacles that healthcare professionals thought she may not have been able to endure. Charlotte was a graduate from the NICU at Arkansas Children’s hospital in November of 2022. In 2025, she was chosen to represent Drew and Bradley County Log-A-Load to help raise money for Children’s Hospital. Charlotte attended Hope Landing and Bradley County Outpatient Therapy where she worked hard in Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy to reach milestones that proved many people wrong. In early 2026, she received a prosthetic leg after amputation which led to her walking, dancing, and running everywhere she went. She learned to walk within two weeks of receiving her leg with lots of hard work and determination. More recently, she was nominated and chosen to represent Arkansas Children’s Hospital as an Ambassador from 2026-2028. Charlotte Ruthe loved to travel in style, starting early on in life. Within the first week of her life, she loaded up with the Angel One team at ACH on Nick Saban’s private LSU jet to get further treatment at Children’s of Alabama. Once she graduated from the NICU, her traveling never slowed regardless of her medical conditions. Charlotte has traveled from Florida all the way to California, and even to the top of the Rocky Mountains. She loved to “Go to Car” at any time of day or night. She loved watching her favorite shows: Cinderella, Tom and Jerry, Mickey Mouse, Ms. Rachel, and Dancing Fruit. She loved to go to Dialysis. She loved the nurses that cared for her, advocated for her, and loved her like their own. Charlotte lived life to the fullest. She was the most beautiful, smartest, bravest, determined little girl for just a young age. Charlotte Ruthe was a warrior. She touched the lives of thousands of people, and left her mark every place she went. She had an infectious smile with the bluest eyes. The most beautiful long and curly hair that caught attention everywhere. Charlotte loved singing and music at Vacation Bible School. Charlotte was the definition of strength. She loved fiercely and fought so incredibly hard over the last four years. Charlotte Ruthe gave the best kisses. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the PICU, the Emergency Department, and the Dialysis Unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Charlotte received the absolute best care from every aspect of every stay she ever had. A special thank you to her Nephrologists, Dr. Crawford and Dr. Millner, as well as her Dialysis Nurses. The pallbearers will be Collin Wilkerson, Cade Wilkerson, Carter Wilkerson, Cody Vines, Colby Cathey, and Hunter Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers are her incredible dialysis team at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The visitation will be held at Frazer’s Funeral Home on September 11,2026 at 6:00pm in Warren, Arkansas.
The Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, 2026 at 2:00pm at Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello, Arkansas with a graveside service following at Gravelridge Cemetery in Hermitage, Arkansas. (To honor Charlotte Ruthe, the family invites everyone to wear pink, her favorite color.)
