Poultry exhibitors preparing for the upcoming county fair will have an opportunity to have their birds tested later this month in Bradley County.
County Fair Poultry Testing is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Bradley County Livestock Barn.
The event is being held in connection with 4-H and the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Research and Extension. Organizers are promoting the testing under the theme, “Ensuring Quality & Safety, One Cluck at a Time.”
The testing helps ensure poultry entered in fair activities meets required health and safety standards.
Those planning to participate should bring their poultry to the Bradley County Livestock Barn by 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.
