MONTICELLO, Ark. — A community fireworks celebration and food truck festival is planned for Friday, July 3, at the Monticello Sports Complex as residents gather to kick off Independence Day weekend.
According to information shared by Explore Monticello, the “Fireworks & Food Truck Fest” will feature local food vendors, live music, family activities, and a fireworks show.
The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and continue until dark at the Monticello Sports Complex, located at 1930 U.S. 278 in Monticello. Local music performances are planned from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., with fireworks set to begin at dark.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of food, entertainment, and community fellowship.
