MONTICELLO, Ark. — Veterans from across Southeast Arkansas are invited to a free legal clinic Friday, July 24, in Monticello.
The Delta Justice Center and the Bowen School of Law Veterans Legal Services Clinic will host the event from 2 to 4 p.m. at VFW Post 4515, located at 148 Veterans Drive.
The clinic will provide free consultations for veterans needing help with VA disability appeals or discharge-upgrade matters. Organizers also say criminal record sealing and other legal concerns may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Veterans from any county are welcome to attend.
The Delta Justice Center said it is also interested in expanding the legal-clinic effort into other towns and counties and is seeking potential community partners interested in hosting a clinic in their area.
