WARREN — The Warren School District is looking for substitute teachers to serve local classrooms, with substitute staffing handled through ESS.

According to information released by the district, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a background check.

Those interested in becoming a substitute teacher can apply online through ESS.com or by scanning the QR code included on the district’s hiring announcement.

The application process includes selecting the district or county where the applicant would like to work, choosing an available position and creating an account through ESS.

District Manager Antonio Davis is also available to answer questions about substitute opportunities in the Warren School District. He can be reached at 870-260-5772.

ESS is also promoting a referral program that offers an opportunity to earn $100 for referring potential substitute employees. Additional information on that program is available at ESS.com/Refer.

Applicants and others interested in learning more can also find ESS Arkansas on Facebook at /ESSArkansas.

The district’s message emphasizes the importance of substitute teachers in keeping classrooms operating when regular teachers are absent, using the theme, “Every Substitute Matters.”
